"It has been almost a year since we signed the contract with Lake City Homes. Some builders might be getting close to completion but we've been enjoying our home for 6 months! We visited, toured and evaluated other companies but kept returning to Lake City to compare price, quality and selection of homes. We had many questions about the building process and we always received prompt knowledgeable answers. Our biggest surprise came when we learned that Lake City can and does build custom homes. Buyers can select a home similar to one of many models or bring in their own ideas and have blue prints drawn for an original. Rob gave us a check sheet and a time line of what to expect during each phase of planning, financing and building. We're so pleased to report that Lake City completed this process in a timely manner and whatever they said "would be done" they "did."

Howard has many years of experience and is very easy to talk to. He offered many suggestions and helpful advice to us. He was involved in all aspects of the building site and the "setting" and finishing of the house. He was a very hands on project manager.

The selections of cabinets, trim, flooring and more at the office were too numerous to mention. A wonderful idea to save time and aggravation of shopping all over. Sue's patience with us as we made our selection of colors was priceless. She was also very helpful with the financial end of things and all the paperwork necessary between the bank, builder and buyer.

The whole experience was great and we still stop in to say "hello" and thank the staff at Lake City Homes for providing us with a wonderful home building experience."
